Just a few days before kindergarten graduation, Brooklyn came to me crying. She said she thought her tooth needed pulled. She removed her had from her mouth and I checked the tooth she was pointing to and yes, it was very ready to be pulled! The funny thing is, this was the first time I was even aware her tooth was loose. I had checked her teeth just a few weeks ago to see if any were loose. All of the kids in her kindergarten class were part of the Lost Tooth Club and Brooklyn still hadn't joined all of them. I thought for sure she would make it through the entire kindergarten year without losing a tooth. And now we were pulling out a tooth that was barely hanging on. I don't think Brooklyn had even noticed her loose tooth before now. She was so excited to go to school a few days later and show everyone in her class the little hole where her tooth use to be and add her name to the Lost Tooth Club.
So glad she got to join that club. We all know how important it is to be part of it. :)
