NOT A HERO

My friend Amy made a post about how her daughter chose Amy as her hero. What a compliment to have a daughter choose her mother as her hero. Amy must be doing something right. Taylor drew me a picture the other day of her and I walking in a snow storm.

And then she wrote me a note on the back.

(I love you. Try to be a better Mom).
Apparenly I am not doing my "Mom" job correctly and I need to improve. I didn't realize there was judging involved in the category of "Mom." And I definitely must not be my daughters hero.

  1. So, do I believe that Lindy truly thinks I'm a hero? Not for a second. But it was a nice story.

As for Taylor...notice how you both have such big smiles on your faces? That's gotta count for a LOT. :)

    (It is hilarious, though.)

  2. I'm quite confident that you're doing better than most. I've never been called a hero, either.

You just need to do a mommy swap with someone and then Taylor will see how good she has it. :)

  3. Too funny! Good thing Kaden can't write yet. I'd hate to see what he said about me. I definitely don't make the grade!

  4. If it makes you feel any better, I am probably not any of my children's hero. I think we are just fine. My philosophy is that I am keeping them fed, clothed and sheltered....good enough. Amen. I'm good with that.
