Goodbye to my Grandparents
Last December I had a feeling that I needed to go visit my grandparents that lived in California. I hadn't seen them in 13 years and both of them were in failing health. So the day after Christmas I flew out to San Luis Obispo for a few days for a visit. My grandpa passed away 6 weeks later and my grandma passed away last week. I am so glad I conceded to that feeling to visit them back in December. How regretful and guilty I would have felt if I hadn't taken the time to see them one last time.

ReplyDeleteAnd yes, I do consider you still a good friend. Someday when I come up to visit the in laws I am going to take little trip south to see you. Blackfoot is not that far and it certainly isn't that exciting Ha ha ha.
